Bergamo Film Meeting is coming up and here there are some news: the official image, which will be the protagonist for all the nine days of the Festival, and also the name of the guest animator, to whom is dedicated the complete retrospective.

Less than two months to start and here there is the official image of the Festival, dedicated to Jean-Pierre Léaud, the protagonist of  the 2019 historical retrospective of BFM 37!
Léaud-child on the run, in Les Quatre Cents Coups by François Truffaut, Léaud seduced and seducing, together with Catherine Duport in Masculin Féminin by J-L. Godard, and Léaud maoist, assertive and revolutionary in La Chinoise by J-L. Godard. The single images are multiplying (actually they develop) on the same level, leaking out a potentially never-ending cycle (that is never the same) of feelings and reactions, animated by a background concern which makes Léaud a complex and fragile character.

The image was created by  Sūqrepubliq, a visual communication and graphic design study from Brescia.
