Entries will remain open from now until 1st April. The 20th edition of Play-Doc International Film Festival will be held in Tui, Galicia, Spain, from 1st to 5th May 2024.

The call is open to films of all lengths and themes, both fiction and non-fiction, from any country. All films selected for the competition sections will be eligible for a cash prize awarded by a prestigious international jury.

Each year, Play-Doc presents a selection of competitive and non-competitive programmes, as well as retrospectives of globally acclaimed filmmakers and cult and independent directors, whose work has been lost, forgotten or is largely unknown.

In addition, Play-Doc is an important platform for the promotion of contemporary independent cinema, with a special interest in Galician cinema, and an ideal meeting place for professionals in the sector.

The festival's programme is completed with various cycles and a wide range of activities such as workshops, masterclasses, meetings, seminars, expanded film sessions, concerts and exhibitions.
