CINEJOY featuring the Artists & Films of CINEQUEST returns virtually November 4 through 14—presenting a dynamic feast of World and U.S. film premieres, live parties, red carpets like no other, and interactive lounges. 175 movies and 550 artists from 55 countries are scheduled to participate. Stars include Mena Suvari, Troian Bellisario, Henry Rollins, Teagan Croft, and many more!

NOV. 4 SPOTLIGHT EVENT:   GOSSAMER FOLDS an inspiring powerhouse: In 1986, nine-year-old Tate Millikin is uprooted and unwillingly moved to the suburbs of Kansas City. As his parent's marriage unravels, Tate finds solace in the unlikely friendships of his new next door neighbors: a retired college professor and his transgender daughter, Gossamer. w/ HIDE digs into your heart: Three interconnected stories behind a single fur coat: the trapper who catches the fox, the seamstress who sews the coat, and the shopper who buys it. Event Features red carpet, special conversations with Mena Suvari as well as the director and stars from Gossamer Folds.

NOV. 5 SPOTLIGHT EVENT:   REBOOT CAMP is a hoot and a holler: After losing his life savings and his wife to a self-help guru, Seymour is on a mission to expose false prophets who fleece people for money. He teams up with his brother Danny, a filmmaker, and they start a fake self-improvement group called Reboot Camp. They plan to document the entire process on film and showcase the falseness of it all, as well as, they hope, make an award-winning documentary. Event features a red carpet and special conversation with the director and cast of Reboot Camp.

NOV. 6 SPOTLIGHT EVENT:   PRETENDERS: Getting black-out drunk on a dirty beach just isn't the same anymore and a trio of friends struggle to slip back into their old debauchery while Hannah questions the seriousness of her relationship with Jasper. Hannah can’t expect Jasper to change who she is. How can they make this vacation fun again? Jasper’s solution: “Why don’t we pretend to be other people?” Winner of Cinequest 2021 Jury Award for Best Feature Comedy! w/ BELLA AND BERNIE: A coming of age story about the choices that define us -- who makes those choices and who lives with the consequences. unrated - mature content.
