That’s Cinequest calling you to join us for our electrifying festival of art, tech, and just plain great people. The show begins this Tuesday evening with the mighty organ lighting up the palatial California Theatre followed by surprise performances plus Nandita Das and her new magnum opus. YES! That’s the way to light up the last days of winter and call in Cinequest and the spring… How much does that cost? • JOE ALL ALONE (World Premiere): A brilliant example of Cinequest’s new television showcase—a youthful and vibrant tale of crime, family, and growing up.
• LUCKY FIFTY (World Premiere): A lively romantic drama shot in and around San Jose. 
• LUPE (World Premiere): A captivating drama that examines sexual identity through the eyes of a Cuban searching for their missing sister in an underground world of crime.
• SUBURBAN WILDLIFE (World Premiere): A beautifully told story of growing up in Australia and learning how to navigate life on your own.
• RICH KIDS: A breathtaking Latino cast sparkles in this timely tale of separation of economic classes in today’s world, told through the eyes of youth.
