1) Screening 183 films

We have films from different genres including Documentaries, Music Videos, Sci-Fi Shorts, Animated Shorts, Horror Shorts, Comedy Shorts, Feature-length films, you name it! Among these 183 films, we are honored to have 2 World Premieres, 4 U.S. Premieres, and 13 Arizona Premieres! The films we screen come from all over the globe, bringing together different cultures and different stories all in one exciting place.

2) 8 venues, 4 days

This year’s festival will be held in 8 different venues spread out across Downtown Chandler over the course of 4 days. Our venues all have different styles: theater rooms at Harkins and Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, ballrooms in the San Marcos Crowne Plaza Resort, restaurants where attendees can eat and drink while watching some amazing films, and outdoor screenings where you can enjoy the beautiful Arizona January weather!

3) Activities

At our festival, we do more than just show films. We host a lot of other exciting events! We will be hosting a Workshop, taught by industry legend Dov Simens, where local people and filmmakers alike can learn professional filmmaking techniques in just two days! For the first time in Arizona history, we will be hosting a Film Market, a place where locals and filmmakers can go talk with film financiers, distributors, and other industry professionals. Over the course of the weekend, a Silent Auction of film paraphernalia will be going on. You can bid on items used or made by famous film people and the person with the highest bid wins!

4) Free Hollywood-style red carpet

This red carpet is not just for celebrities and filmmakers. You can make your red carpet debut for free! Get dolled up like a celebrity, walk the red carpet and get your picture taken and participate in some media interviews!
