PROGRAMME – THE BLACK BOOK OF AMERICAN CINEMA

The Festival des 3 Continents, echoing the particularly intense period of American cinema, offers an anthology of films directed by black american directors. One of the biggest and most diverse retrospectives presented in Europe, covering almost a century of cinema in around forty films.

PROGRAMME - TSUI HARK, THE ICONOCLAST OF HONG KONG CINEMA

A key figure of Hong Kong cinema, Tsui Hark has made around 50 films. Through him, the spectacular in action cinema has opened the door to the wildest stylistic experiments and hybridizations. A look back at fourteen films which, since the 1980s, have built a bridge between Hong Kong and two generations of French film-lovers. With the support of Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (Bruxelles). (Photo Once Upon A Time In China, Tsui Hark)

PROGRAMME - ASPECTS OF COSTA RICAN CINEMA

Small Latin American country, Costa Rica has developed true film-making ambitions. Its distinctive characteristics (one of which is the overriding place of women in the cinema industry) have guided our choice of programme content. With the support of Procomer - Esencial Costa Rica
