Reinaldo Marcus Green

Writer/Director

Reinaldo Marcus Green is a writer, director, and producer. His first feature, Monsters and Men had its world premiere at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. The film received a Special Jury Prize for Outstanding First Feature. Reinaldo directed the first three episodes of the Netflix series, Top Boy, executive produced by Drake and SpringHill Entertainment. He has since completed his sophomore feature Joe Bell, starring Mark Wahlberg which premiered at TIFF 2020 and will be distributed this summer by Amazon and Roadside Attractions. Reinaldo recently directed the Warner Brothers film King Richard starring Will Smith, which is currently in post-production. He will direct the upcoming HBO Limited Series We Own This City, written and executive produced by David Simon and George Pelecanos. Following, he's attached to write and direct the upcoming Bob Marley biopic at Paramount.

Amy Talkington

Amy Talkington is an award-winning writer, director and producer living in Los Angeles.

Amy wrote the remake of “Valley Girl” for MGM and has written numerous other studio features that are in various phases of development, including “Undercover” at Lionsgate with Steve Pink directing.

In the television arena, Amy was a Co-Executive Producer and writer on Hulu’s hit series “Little Fires Everywhere” (starring Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington) for which she was nominated for both an Emmy and a Writers Guild Award. She currently has several series in development including pilots for Hulu, 20th Century TV and FilmNation.

Previously, Amy wrote and directed the independent feature film “The Night of the White Pants” as well as five short films which won multiple awards and played festivals all over the world, including Sundance.

Jane Schoenbrun

Jane Schoenbrun (they/she) is a non-binary filmmaker whose first narrative feature We're All Going to the World's Fair premiered in the NEXT section at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival. The film recently played at the 50th annual New Directors/New Films, and will be released in theaters by Utopia Pictures and available for streaming via HBOMax. Jane's previous projects include co-creating the touring variety series The Eyeslicer (Tribeca 2017), creating the Radical Film Fair (a film flea market and mentorship event that drew thousands of attendees), directing the feature documentary A Self-Induced Hallucination (Rotterdam 2019), producing Aaron Schimberg’s Chained for Life (Kino Lorber 2019), EPing season one of Terence Nance’s Random Acts of Flyness (HBO 2018), and creating the omnibus ‘dream film’ collective:unconscious (SXSW 2016). Jane sometimes publishes the column “Continue Watching” for FILMMAKER Magazine, and has previously worked as the Senior Film Lead at Kickstarter and as the Associate Director of Programming at IFP.

Geeta Malik

Geeta Malik is an award-winning writer/director whose accolades include the inaugural Academy Gold Fellowship for Women, the Academy Nicholl Fellowship, and the Austin Film Festival Comedy Screenplay Award for her feature script, DINNER WITH FRIENDS (retitled to INDIA SWEETS AND SPICES). Geeta directed INDIA SWEETS AND SPICES, starring Manisha Koirala, Adil Hussain, and Sophia Ali. The film was produced by SK Global and Madison Wells Media, and is premiering at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival.

Geeta wrote and directed the viral narrative short, AUNTY Gs, which earned a College Television Award (a “student Emmy”) in comedy from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Her first feature film, TROUBLEMAKER, premiered at the Cinequest Film Festival. She is a Film Independent Project Involve Fellow and an alumna of UCLA’s graduate film program.

Josh Nadler is Director of Development and Acquisitions at Sony Pictures Entertainment Affirm Films.

He started in TV and Film production, then moved over to creative development. During the past 13 years, Josh helped build Sony's faith based division, Affirm Films. He's worked on over 30 films including Soul Surfer (starring AnnaSophia Robb, Golden Globe nominee Dennis Quaid, Academy Award winner Helen Hunt, Carrie Underwood)  Heaven is For Real (starring Academy Award nominee Greg Kinnear, Academy Award nominee Thomas Haden Church), Risen(starring Emmy nominee Joseph Fiennes), and Miracles From Heaven (starring Emmy nominee Jennifer Garner and Queen Latifah). Aisling Chin-Yee

Aisling Chin-Yee is an award-winning filmmaker based in Montreal, Canada, and Los Angeles, California. Aisling was named one of Canada’s Rising Film Stars by Now Magazine 2019. Her feature film directorial debut, The Rest of Us, starring SAG Award nominee and Independent Spirit Award nominee Heather Graham (Boogie Nights, The Hangover), Sophie Nélisse (The Book Thief), and Jodi Balfour (The Crown) premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and has released widely around the world. Her latest work that she co-wrote with Amos Mac, and co-directed with Chase Joynt, No Ordinary Man, world premiered at TIFF 2020, then onto AFI and DOCNYC amongst many others, was awarded Best Canadian Feature Film at Inside Out LGBTQ Film Festival and was also one of TIFF Top Ten films of 2020.

Aisling produced the award-
winning feature film, Rhymes for Young Ghouls, which was
a TIFF Top 10 film and won Best Director at the Vancouver
International Film Festival, as well as the award-winning
feature documentary, Last Woman Standing. She produced the gritty urban drama, The Saver, which was released in Spring 2016, the political documentary, Inside These Walls, and the television series Lost Generation that same year.

Alongside filmmaking, Aisling is an outspoken advocate for equality and diverse representation on and off screen. In 2016, she co-founded the #AfterMeToo movement, which includes a fund, roundtable series, and report that brings to light the issue of sexual misconduct in the entertainment industry. 

She is represented by Hannah Davis and Chelsea Radler at WME, and her manager is Raquelle David at Elevate Entertainment.

Winner of the 2020 Film Independent Spirit’s Someone to Watch Award, the Princess Grace Foundation Award, Spike Lee Fellowship and NYU Dean’s Fellowship, named in Filmmaker Magazine’s 25 New Faces of Independent Film and indieWIRE's Ten Exciting New Voices in Black Cinema, New York native Rashaad Ernesto Green's first feature, GUN HILL ROAD, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and received nationwide distribution.  Rashaad’s second feature, PREMATURE, nominated for the 2020 Film Independent Spirit’s John Cassavetes Award, premiered at Sundance Film Festival, was distributed by IFC Films in 2020 and is currently available on Hulu and VOD.  In his work, Rashaad encourages people to have an active emotional experience by telling stories that are deeply rooted within the universal human experience.  Rashaad’s films have screened on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, HBO, and at festivals internationally.  His television credits include shows for Marvel, Netflix, Showtime, Hulu, NBC, Fox, Warner Bros, VH1 and BET.  He’s been supported by the Sundance Institute, Tribeca Film Institute, Cinereach, IFP, HBO, NBC, Time Warner, Warner Bros, Humanitas New Voices, Jerome Foundation, NALIP and NHFA.

Tara Miele

Tara Miele is an award winning filmmaker. Her latest film, the critically acclaimed Wander Darkly, starring Golden Globe nominee Sienna Miller and SAG award nominee Diego Luna(star of the upcoming Rogue One: A Star Wars Story - Disney +), premiered in competition at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival and is distributed by Lionsgate. Tara is currently attached to write and direct a Carol Burnett biopic being produced by Tina Fey for Apple.

Tara has directed by the Pilot for CW's Green Arrow and The Canaries, as well as episodes of Batwoman (Hulu, HBOmax), Hawaii Five-0 (CBS, Amazon Prime), and Arrow (Netflix).

​

Tara is well know for the viral video Meet a Muslim, which she created in order to combat Islamophobia. The video was featured on R29, E Weekly, Buzzfeed and has been viewed over 40 million times.

She is a graduate of Ryan Murphy's Half Foundation and CBS' Directing Initiative.

Fredric King is a producer and director who’s driven to create provocative, visually striking work that moves and motivates people.

Marie Jamora

Marie Jamora is currently directing an episode of Hulu's Queen Sugar this season. Prior to that, the musician-director was named one of Five Visionary Asian-American Female Filmmakers in Kore Magazine's 'New Hollywood' issue. Her recent work, Flip the Record, won the Grand Jury Award for Best Narrative Short at Urbanworld, and Harana won the Jury Award for U.S. Narrative Short at the 2021 Sarasota Film Festival. Her first feature, What Isn’t There, premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival (released in theaters internationally). She is an executive producer and the director of Family Style, an Asian foodie show with Justin Lin's YOMYOMF and Warner Bros/Stage 13. After almost two decades of filmmaking and teaching in the Philippines, she became the first Filipina director to be accepted into WB's Television Directors' Workshop. She is Directing Faculty at the American Film Institute.

Michael A. Pinckney got his start as assistant director to Spike Lee on films such as Inside Man, 25th Hour, Bamboozled, Summer of Sam, Miracle at St. Ann, She Hate Me, Oldboy, as well as many other critically acclaimed films and TV shows including Precious (Academy Award winner) and shows like Broad City and Law & Order CI, before transitioning to writing, directing and producing.

Michael has written and directed a feature film, television pilots and a variety of digital series. His feature film debut “You’re Nobody Til Somebody Kills You”, was distributed by Lionsgate (available on Apple TV). He’s directed a variety of digital series from “Sole Kings” for BRIC TV, “Black Actress” for Issa Rae Productions in addition to Producing the award-winning digital series “For Colored Boys - Redemption” starring Tim Reid. Michael also Co-Produced BET’s Docu-Series “From The Bottom Up”. Michael wrote and directed "The Trade" the Award-Winning film about sex trafficking with is now on Amazon Prime and Directed the Award Winning film “God Bless You”, which was gotten over 2  Million views on Youtube.

Iram Parveen Bilal

Iram Parveen Bilal is a creator excited to tell thought provoking stories that are socially impactful and envision an inclusive world. Raised in Nigeria and Pakistan and having spent a third of her life in three different continents, she is a certified third culture citizen. Most recently, she was hired to write a pilot and break series for two seasons of a hip hop dance drama by the Emmy Award-winning producers of Netflix India's DELHI CRIME. Her second feature as a writer/director, I'LL MEET YOU THERE was in competition at SXSW 2020 and was acquired by Abigail Disney's Level Forward. I'LL MEET YOU THERE has opened to the North American market to rave reviews, and is available on Amazon Prime and Vudu. She is a CAPE, Film Independent & Thomas J. Watson fellow and multiple time Women in Film awardee. Eager to raise while rising and being an engineer in her past, Iram is an active mentor for women in film and tech. She is a member of the Film Fatales and the Alliance of Women directors, advocating for gender parity behind the camera. Bilal has been featured on NPR, BBC, the New York Times, Forbes, Filmmaker Magazine and more. Bilal initiated the Pakistani Oscar committee and is the founder of Pakistan's first professional screenwriting lab (QALAMBAAZ).
