The industry platform DOK.forum is meeting for the first time this year as a hybridly: on site in Munich and online. In workshops, panels, case studies and pitches we offer exciting insights into current industry topics.

The Master's Pitch 2022 is dedicated to the question of what filmmakers really need to get back on their feet after this challenging months. We think it's time it’s also time to truly listen, reflect and pool together!

For the German Guest Delegation to the Nordisk Panorama Forum, which will take place in September 2022, we warmly invite producers from Germany to apply by 15 April. To the Call for Producers

Not a word about C... or P…, but let’s be frank: we cannot pretend that we are back to normal, and nothing has changed. The documentary industry is hurting, and we rely more than ever on the Magic Triangle of independent creators, public funds, and broadcasters/platforms. But how do we keep the creative juices flowing? What do filmmakers and producers need to flourish? What do funders need to stay relevant? And what do broadcasters and platforms need to engage and enlighten audiences? 

Along the lines of the well-known dictum, Never Waste a Good Crisis, it’s time for new visions, new initiatives, taking frank, realistic stock, but also grabbing and exploring the glimpses of opportunities the crisis also offered us.

In September 2022, our partner Nordisk Panorama Forum is inviting a German Guest Delegation to Malmö, Sweden. We are therefore looking for 10 producers from Germany to attend the main funding event for the Nordic documentary community.

The aim of this cooperation is to facilitate connections between the Nordic countries and Germany and strengthen co-production ties. The main activity for the delegation producers is the networking event Producers Meet Producers on Sunday 25 September, featuring presentations, tailored match-making and round table discussions. The delegation producers are also invited to apply for the main pitching session of Nordisk Panorama Forum.
