Delphic Art Movie Award DAMA

The contest for the Delphic Art Movie Award is hosted by the International Delphic Council and shows short documentaries (max. duration: 10 min) about the fascination of arts and cultures.
Two aspects are equally important: 1) contemporary art and its protagonists 2) the preservation of cultural heritage.


The winners of the DELPHIC ART MOVIE AWARDS 2011

8 documentary short films were awarded with the DAMA 2011

The decision of the jury was announced at the "Palais am Funkturm" in
Berlin on
13th March.

136 documentary short films from 42 countries entered the contest for the Delphic
Art Movie Award 2011. The contest is hosted by the International Delphic
Council and is looking for short documentaries with a maximum duration of 10
minutes about the fascination of arts and cultures.

The subjects of the entered films range from contemporary art and its
protagonists to impressive documentations about the preservation of
cultural heritage.

We want to encourage all film-makers to participate in the contest for the
Delphic Art Movie Award 2012
with their documentary short films! The
films should document, inform and inspire. In addition, the films should be
able to get a large audience, which isn't informed over-average, enthusiastic
about art and culture in their manifold manifestations. Every artistic field is
included, from the contemporary avant-garde to the preservation of traditions
and the cultural heritage. Also welcome are short versions of full length
