The DC Independent Film Festival (DCIFF) will celebrate 24 years of service to filmmkaers from February 21-24, 2024, and we are looking for great material to show in Washington, DC., a media hub of the United States. We work with established and novice filmmakers by creating strong, popular film and media events that attract people and attention to independent film as a creative engine.  We screen features, animation, shorts, documenarty (long and short form) and web series pilots. Our roots in Washington D.C. run deep. DCIFF, an internationally-recognized, award-winning festival, is both largely volunteer-run and professional.

We look forward to receiving and reviewing your submissions,

Deirdre Evans-Pritchard, Executive Director, DCIFF

-----------

We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, color, sex, age or disability;  nor on the basis of film genre (we do not accept adult films), film length or film format. It is our intention that all submissions be given equal opportunity. All submissions are screened by a committee and selection decisions are made based on a mix of quality, originality, wow-factor, smarts, beauty and, where relevant, social value.  DC Premiere required, East Coast and U.S. Premieres preferred.  Our submission fees allow us to cover the cost of filmmaker support: press, screenings, seminars and outreach.
