"terroir" to play EQUIS Film Festival in Ecuador!"terroir" has been accepted to EQUIS Festival de Cine Feminista de Ecuador for November 11-22, 2020. Due to the Covid19 pandemic, it will be presented online, sponsored by the US Embassy and Consulate there. Helmed, written and produced by Dawn Westlake under her Ron de Cana Prods, Inc. shingle, "terroir" was filmed in Wheaton & Peru, IL USA, Font Romeu, France and Vilafranca del Penedes, Spain by Pol Carrizo Vilarroig of Imatge Barcelona. An original score was composed, and Westlake's voice was coached, by GC Johnson of Acoustic Labs. 4-year-old actress Lilly Johnson makes her professional debut in "terroir". The film has won 7 awards; 3 in Italy, 2 in India and others in Colombia and North Carolina.
