Scrappy to rep the USA in the Vittoria Peace Film Fest!"Scrappy" will represent the USA in the Vittoria Peace Film Festival in Vittoria, Italy, from December 12 to 15, 2016. Based on the Studs Terkel Humanities Award-winning poem by Donald G. Westlake, "Scrappy" recounts a real-life incident from Dr. Westlake's childhood when he stood up to the gun culture in the US. The film was helmed by Dawn Westlake and shot by Pol Carrizo Vilarroig of Imatge Barcelona on a C300 provided by Canon USA, Inc. Carrizo-Vilarroig also edited and did color grading. An original score for "Scrappy" was provided by GC Johnson of Acoustic Labs. Johnson was nominated for the 2016 Peer Raben Music Award at Soundtrack_Cologne, Germany for his collaboration with Westlake on her 2015 film, "Through the Pane".
