FROM ON HIGH has been selected to the International Izmir Artemis Film Festival in Izmir, Turkey for August 27-31, 2018 and will compete for the Best Short Film prize there. Written and helmed by Dawn Westlake, FROM ON HIGH tells the story of a Syrian refugee girl who finds a better life in Europe. It was shot on location and edited by Pol Carrizo-Vilarroig of Imatge Barcelona in Catalunya, Spain in September 2017. An original score was composed by GC Johnson of Acoustic Labs. FROM ON HIGH has now won 7 awards in the USA, Spain and Italy (5).
