Chandler International Film Festival

The Chandler International Film Festival is a diversified and pioneering film festival located in Chandler, Arizona. CIFF is going screen over 200 films from more than 30 countries! Our four-day (January 18-23, 2022) festival will include Red Carpet, Opening Ceremony, World Premiers, Audience Choice Awards, Film Auction, Film Market, Award Ceremony, Networking, Workshops, Q&A and After Parties.

With a passion for the art of filmmaking, the Chandler International Film Festival aims to support independent filmmakers from all over the world and their filmmaking. We provide a platform through which projects are reviewed, judged, and honored for their uniqueness, creativity, and storytelling ability.

6 people on the watch at Chandler International Film Festival

Talented filmmakers and actors will come to the Chandler International Film Festival the weekend of January 21-29, but there are 6 people to be on the lookout for. Don’t get star struck if you come across any of them walking around Downtown Chandler:

1) ROB SCHNEIDER

Rob Schneider is a famous Hollywood actor, comedian and screenwriter. He has thrilled audiences all over the world with his hilarious roles in feature films including Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo (1999), The Animal (2001), The Hot Chick (2002), The Benchwarmers (2006) and many more. He is often seen alongside Adam Sandler in films such as The Waterboy (1998), Big Daddy (1999) and Little Nicky (2000). Rob got his start in comedy in 1988 as a writer for SNL which quickly turned into a full cast member! Nowadays you can find Rob touring his comedy show around the country as well as watch the ups and downs of his life unfold in his Netflix series, Real Rob (2015-2017).

2) TOM PROCTOR

Coming from a background of working with horses and livestock, Tom Proctor has acquired skills that have helped him excel in his acting career. His raw power and stunt talent has lead him to work with notable directors such as James Gunn in Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), Joel and Ethan Coen in The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018) and Steve McQueen in 12 Years a Slave (2013) which won the Academy Awards for Best Picture. As an actor, stunt coordinator, producer and director, Proctor brings stories to life in front and behind the cameras. Proctor brings his directorial talents to the Chandler Film Festival with his new movie Guilt (2022).

3) ARMANDO GUTIERREZ

Armando Gutierrez is an American actor, writer and producer. Born in Florida, Gutierrez went on to graduate from Harvard University before diving into the film industry and and creating wonderful works such as Mad Hatter (2021). Watch him bring his roll of Jeff Bezos to life at the screening of Bezos (2023).

4) RENATA MANTEROLA

Renata Manterola is a Mexican actress and model, known for the role of Vanesa Cruz in the telenovela La reina soy yo, El Señor de los Cielos (2013) and Dark Desire (2020).

5) LOVINDER GILL

Lovinder Gill is an accomplished screenwriter, producer, and director. He has created feature films such as Lost Stallions: The Journey Home (2008), starring Mickey Rooney, as well as captivating documentaries like Wesley (2009), which is based on the life of John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist Church. Gill's talents are shared with his students at University of North Carolina, where he taught producing. He has also taught at East Carolina University and Drexel University.

6) BUBBA GANTER

Bubba Ganter is a famous TV Actor who is local to Flagstaff, AZ. Ganter is well known to Nickelodeon viewers as Bunny on the series Game Shakers and Sam & Cat starring Ariana Grande and Jennette McCurdy, he has also had notable film roles in 2009’s Middle Men and 2011’s Falling Overnight, among others.
