The Capri, Hollywood - International Film Festival is set to honor Marvel Studios’ box office hit, "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" directed by Ryan Coogler with the ‘Capri - Best Global Cast of the Year’ Award

Marvel Studios’ box office hit, "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" directed by Ryan Coogler will be honoured with the ‘Capri - Best Global Ensemble Cast of the Year’ Award at the 27th edition of the ‘Capri, Hollywood - The International Film Festival’ (December 26 - January 2) for the astounding performances delivered by Letitia Wright (as Shuri, becoming the Black Panther), Lupita Nyong'o, Angela Bassett, Winston Duke, Danai Gurira, Florence Kasumba, and Martin Freeman.

The ‘Capri - Best European Cast of the Year’ award will be presented to Mario Martone’s “Nostalgia," the movie representing Italy to the ‘95th Academy Awards’ for ‘Best International Feature’ and starring Pierfrancesco Favino alongside Tomaso Ragno, Francesco Di Leva, Aurora Quattrocchi, Sofia Essaïdi, Nello Mascia, Salvatore Striano.

These much awaited acknowledgments were announced by Italian music iconic producer Tony Renis, honorary president of the Institute Capri in the World, together with Israeli singer Noa, honorary president of the festival promoted in association with Ministry of Italian Culture (Dg Cinema and Audiovisual) as well as the Campania Region. "Our board has unanimously selected the protagonists of a huge US production starring a group of stars who are contributing to bringing audiences back to movie theatres all around the world”.

“Nostalgia” – acknowledged as European Film of the Year at Capri Hollywood – also won Best European Cast, thanks to its assortment of outstanding performers against the evocative backdrop of Naples.

Film director Liliana Cavani will be feted with the “Capri - Master of Cinematic Art” award while the ‘Italian-American Actor of the Year’ award will be assigned to Frank Grillo actually starring in Bobby Moresco’s “Lamborghini – The Man Behind the Legend."

Capri, Hollywood will host luminaries of the Italian and International film industry as well as film premieres and reviews open to the public.
