Wim Wenders Pope Francis A Man of his Word speaks strongly for unity in our divided world.

The team of the Festival Sacré de la Beauté was privileged to be invited at Universal Pictures - Focus International presentation of Wim Wenders' documentary  "Pope Francis a Man of his Word".

Monseigneur Le Gall archbishop of Toulouse and Michael Lonsdale took the trip and the stairs to attend the world premiere. Last year in Cannes The Sacred Festival for Beauty had invited Wim Wenders and Dario Vigano Prefect for communication at Vatican, he is the one who initiated the project since the pope is not much into cinema. Together they spoke in a panel organised around the theme "Making Movies that Matter"

In his introduction speech Thierry Fremaux explained he was sorry the Pope could not attend as "popes WORK on Sunday"

The honor became an intense pleasure watching the film, the portayal of pope Francis, and a parallel period fiction is extremely moving, strong and is presented as a work which can unite us despite that divides us around the world. The packed room gave an extraordinarily warm round of applause to the film.

I was personnaly so moved that i only could ONLY utter two words to Wim Wenders: "too short" I wish i could have stayed longer with a man whose words clearly hit straight to the heart and the brain in the same time.

"Pope Francis - A Man of His Word" is intended to be a personal journey with Pope Francis, rather than a biographical documentary about him. The pope's ideas and his message are central to this documentary, which sets out to present his work of reform and his answers to today's global questions.
