The World Woman Cannes May 14 and 15 Agenda
The World Woman Cannes Agenda, a global multistakeholder initiative to reshape women’s roles in the media and entertainment industry, will launch its inaugural #EqualityMoonshot May 14–15 at the Hotel Splendid, on the sidelines of the Festival de Cannes at the Hotel Splendid in Cannes, France, directly opposite the Palais des Festivals. The event is expected to attract more than 400 delegates from over 30 countries.
Positioned as a premier global platform, the World Woman Cannes Agenda aims to drive high-level collaboration among female creators, funders, filmmakers, researchers and changemakers to build a bold new cinematic future — one that is unapologetically female-led, technologically driven
and socially transformative.
Cinema is no longer entertainment—it’s an ecosystem of influence. Whether it’s dismantling outdated norms, leveraging AI to rebuild the industry,
or amplifying untold stories from conflict zones and climate crises, this is more than a movement—it’s the blueprint for a new world order.
WORLD WOMAN @CANNES FILM FESTIVAL: THE FUTURE OF CINEMA IS FEMALE
The next-gen film industry is not just diverse—it’s dynamic, disruptive, and unstoppable. The future is female-led.
The future is now
