15:30 (1:30) – NEXT CANNES NEXT EXCLUSIVE WITH GRUVI. HOW CAN DISTRIBUTORS AND VOD PLATFORMS WORK TOGETHER TO GROW THEIR AUDIENCES?

Why don’t film distributors treat VOD campaigns like cinema campaigns? On-Demand services provide a powerful way to reach millions of housebound film fans, but there is one major problem: distributors cannot successfully track sales attributed to their advertising. Gruvi’s CEO Ben Johnson will show how to solve this problem so that a distributor and VOD provider can work together to drive new users, bolster sales and drive audiences into better more frequent VoD habits. The session will investigate how to exploit your behavioural audience data (what they «do» is more important than who they «are»), integrate real-time tracking into your platform (a distributor will spend more money if their ads deliver results they can measure), and case studies of audience growth. There will also be a panel of leading industry speakers to demonstrate how a distributor’s ad spend can buy you new, long-term users.

Speakers: Ben Johnson, Nguyet Nguyenova
