Luke Evans, Mia Kirshner, Michael Aronov and Martin Donovan have joined the cast of Nicholas Jarecki’s DREAMLAND.

BAFTA Award-nominee Luke Evans (The Girl On The Train, Beauty and the Beast), Mia Kirshner (The Black Dahlia, “The L Word”), Tony Award- winner Michael Aronov (“The Americans”, The Drop), , and Martin Donovan (“Big Little Lies”, Inherent Vice) are set to join previously announced stars Gary Oldman, Armie Hammer, Evangeline Lilly, and more in Nicholas Jarecki‘s (Arbitrage) dramatic thriller from his original script, Dreamland

The film is currently in production in Montreal. Lisa Wilson handles foreign sales through her Solution Entertainment Group with Myles Nestel. William Morris Endeavor represents US rights with LGNA Legal.

Evans plays a pharmaceutical executive on the verge of a major breakthrough. Kirshner plays the sister of Lilly’s recovering addict. Aronov plays a narcotics distributor in a contentious partnership with Hammer. Donovan plays an industrial tycoon.

Jarecki wrote and is directing Dreamland as a follow up to his critically acclaimed breakout hit, Arbitrage, the highest grossing independent film to be released “day and date”, which garnered a Golden Globe nomination for its star, Richard Gere.

Welsh actor Luke Evans began his career on the stage, performing in London's West End before getting his breakthrough film role in the 2010 Clash of the Titans remake.  Following his feature film debut, Evans then appeared in action and thriller films such as Immortals, The Raven, and The Three Musketeers before starring in the franchise Fast & Furious and The Hobbit.  Most recently Evans starred in Disney's blockbuster live action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast, and portrayed American psychologist William Moulton Marston, creator of the fictional character Wonder Woman, in the biographical drama Professor Marston and the Wonder Women.

Tony Award-winning actor Michael Aarnov has appeared in multiple Emmy-Award winning series including “The Americans”, “The Blacklist” and “Billions”. For his stage work Michael received the "Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play" in 2017. He was also honored with the "Lucille Lortel Award", the "Obie Award", and received "Drama Desk Award" and "Outer Critics Circle Award" nominations for his role as Uri Savir in the Broadway play "Oslo".

Canadian actress Mia Kirshner first rose to prominence in Atom Egoyan’s award-winning Exotica. Other feature credits include Brian De Palma’s The Black Dahlia opposite Josh Hartnett and Scarlett Johansson. She has also appeared as Jenny Schecter on the much-loved television series “The L Word”, and for her recurring guest role as the terrorist Mandy on the TV series “24”.

American actor Martin Donovan known for the Emmy Award-winning series “Big Little Lies”, Paul Thomas Anderson’s Academy Award-nominated Inherent Vice and the cult television series “Weeds”.

Producers are Jarecki and Cassian Elwes (Dallas Buyers Club) who financed together through Jarecki’s Green Room Films and its continuing relationship with MUFG Union Bank. Co-producers are Jonathan Vanger (Canada) and Karl Richards (Belgium). Michael Suppes and Tony Hsieh executive produce with Mohammed Al Turki, Lisa Wilson, William Rosenfeld, Sam Slater, David Bernon, and Samuel Reich. Co-executive producers are Kean Cronin and Robert Kapp. Senior Canadian Executives are Matthew Schmidt and Dean Buchanan.

The film is a Canadian-Belgian co-production of Les Productions LOD Inc., Bideford Productions and its affiliate Green Room Films in association with Tuesday Films, Martingale Films, Flying Horse Productions, Construction Film GmbH, Caviar Film Financing, and Burn Later Productions
