3D Workshop of Cannes: big success once more!

3D Stereo MEDIA held its by-now traditional 3D Workshop at Festival de Cannes, on the American Pavilion, on 15 May 2015. Fully booked several days before its start, the event undoubtedly featured the highest concentration of 3D experts and 3D information for the whole 12 days of the world-renown festival.

Experts from several countries explained how "advanced" imaging techniques would soon contribute to deliver the best stereoscopic 3D visualization ever experienced on Earth. The organizers welcomed, among others, the President of the "Advanced Imaging Society", who brought the view from Hollywood.

The 3D GUILD and its award are born

In the wake of the 3D Workshop, an international press conference unveiled - in a room packed by journalists and workshop attendees - the new 3D Guild and its new award called the 3D Guild Award.

The 3D Guild is an international non-profit organization launched by its 11 founding members from five (5) countries, conceived to link the professionals from all over the world who share a passion for 3D, in order to help them to work in concert, to push always further back the fascinating and sometimes surprising frontiers of 3D.
