FilmHedge and Southbox Entertainment Founder and CEO Jon Gosier Joins Group as Investor and Strategic Advisor
Film and TV finance company FilmHedge<https://filmhedge.com/> has entered into a $25 million first-look financing production partnership with Riveting Entertainment Group<https://rivetingentertainment.com/> to significantly expand Riveting Films, the companies announced today from the Festival de Cannes, where FilmHedge is a hosting sponsor of the Producers Network. The companies will collaborate on a broad slate of feature length films with the first one planned to begin production within the year.
As part of the partnership, film and television production company Southbox Entertainment<https://southboxent.com/> (COLLATERAL DATA, WITCH HUNT, RISE, PHOBIAS, SKYLINES) has the option to provide additional equity financing to the premiere collaboration, as well as future productions from Riveting Films. Jon Gosier, who helms both FilmHedge and Southbox Entertainment, joins Riveting as investor and strategic advisor. Gosier brings deep knowledge and connections in the film and music industries to his role having founded Audigent<https://audigent.com/>, a music-tech platform providing artists Camila Cabello, Eminem, Post Malone, Blake Shelton, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Shakira, Rihanna, Jay-Z, and others with new ways of understanding and monetizing audience data.
