The film and fashion industries elite turned out in force this evening for the CINÉMOI ‘STARS UNITED FOR GOOD’ HAUTE COUTURE GALA to raise funds for the Children Uniting Nations organisation. The glamourous charity fundraising event was hosted at The Members Lounge during the 72nd edition of the Cannes Film Festival.

The night of film, fashion and philanthropy was hosted by Daphna Edwards Ziman; President of Cinémoi and Vincent De Paul. Guests were entertained with an exclusive line-up of performances from stars including: Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross, DJ Nickie Cartel, Joel Rothwell and Paul Oakenfold.

Other celebrities who also supported the evening were Andy Loveday, Beverly Todd, Dena Rassam, Emmanuel Kelly, Emily Shah, Eugenia Kuzmina, Lady Victoria Hervey, Mafalda, Radha Mitchell and Wendy Starland.

The Members Lounge also doubled up as a catwalk, with some of the world’s most innovative and inspiring designers showcasing their most lavish and cutting-edge work. Designers showcasing their collections included Jérome Blin, Antonio Ortega, Atelier Mimii, Damané from France and Gert-Johan Coetzee from South Africa and Ali Karoui from Tunisia.

Proceeds from the exclusive gala evening will go to support the charity Children Uniting Nations which was founded to protect the children who have no voice, whose fragile lives are being abused and lost by the millions due to uncertainties out of their control, Children Uniting Nations is a proactive non-profit organisation based in Los Angeles that brings stability and supportive relationships into the lives of foster youth through a mentoring program that has become a model for the rest of the country.

The Closing Ceremony of the 72nd Festival de Cannes will be broadcast live on Cinémoi on Saturday 25th May, exclusively in the USA. The 52min programme Cinémoi Goes To Cannes 2019 will feature highlights of the festival, including interviews with directors and actors, and reviews of films in competition, it will premiere on Friday 31st May (10.00pm ET) and will feature Cinémoi’s "STARS UNITED FOR GOOD” Haute Couture gala.
