As such they have decided to put in place a formal partnership as a basis of future collaboration. As part of this new partnership FILM LONDON and ILE DE FRANCE FILM COMMISSION will bring together Production and Post Production talents from London and Ile de France to attend key film industry events either side of the Channel. I believe this partnership represents an intelligent response to competition and collaboration, recognising the similarities and differences between our respective organisations and indentifying some tangible initial areas we can work together that we hope to build on.”  FILM LONDON, the capital’s film and media agency, aims to ensure London has a thriving film sector that enriches the city’s businesses and its people. Through the Filming Partnership: London and the South East, the agency sustains, promotes and develops the region as a major international production and film cultural capital, working with all the screen industries including film, television, video, commercials and new interactive media. More:     Olivier-René VEILLON, Executive director of Ile de France Film Commission said: "We do believe very much in creative partnership between London and Ile de France two major places for international production which can mutually benefit of a stronger and joint approach of international opportunities. We share the same values, high quality in production, sustainable development and we share also great talents especially in digital creation." The main duties of the ILE DE FRANCE FILM COMMISSION are to facilitate filming in the region by offering French and foreign film crews the best possible work conditions and production framework and to facilitate the setting up of French and foreign co-productions.The Ile de France Film Commission offers a complete set of services to strengthen the appeal of the Ile de France region as a filming location especially adapted to cinema and audiovisual production.
