DDA is holding a tournament on the 335.3 cm (132”) HP VantagePoint, an immersive multi-touch wall for the chance to win an HP SpectreXT and tickets to one of the evening premieres.

Every day the lounge will be open for people to compete on either Angry Birds as single player or Tap Game as a team of 2 . At the end of each day the person and team with the highest score will receive tickets to one of the following day’s red carpet premieres.

At the end of the festival the overall winner (single and team) with the highest score will win a HP SpectreXT

To enter: Head on over to the HP Lounge situated on the ground floor of The Majestic Hotel between 10 am – 1pm and 5pm – 7pm.

 HEWLETT-PACKARD (HP), Official Partner of the Cannes Film Festival 2012, is showcasing its large-scale, next generation ultra-high resolution (4098 x 1536) interactive multi-touch wall in the HP Lounge at Hôtel Majestic Barrierre from 16th to 27th May, demonstrating its strong collaboration with movie and gaming partners as well as major film studios and production companies. Visitors to the HP Lounge will be able immerse themselves into sheer innovation on the ultra-new, ultra large and fully immersive 335.3cm (132”) touch wall, HP’s VantagePoint, and enjoy  bespoke content from major film studio such as BanditoBrothers.  They will also be able to discover preview clips and images from Roberto Miller’s film “Madolora” (PureGrain Studios). The touch wall can also give life to a host of content from fashion to luxury goods and interactive games such as Angry Birds and Helios Gaming Suite. “The entertainment industry is all about creating emotion.  Large interactive display surfaces are incredibly important for the entertainment industry, where vivid, larger-than-life experiences are needed to draw movie goers into their creative minds and worlds.
