Cannes

Each year, a selected group of young actors and actresses are chosen to take part in a very selective acting program and shoot a short 25 minute film. They then have the privilage of joining thousands of filmmakes and distributors in Cannes during the film festival to screen and promote their film. They have recently been holding many photocalls, press conferences, and interviews to notify the public and those in the film business of their short film. This is the 16th year that this program has come to Cannes. This year, more than 1700 candidates applied for the program and only 12 were selected.
