The Best Casino Movies of All Time

Casino has always been one of the favourite hobbies of many people around the world. Las Vegas and its glamour and fame has fascinated people all around the globe for many years.

anchor -

There have been several movies taken place in the Sin City and even more movies about the games being played within the casinos.

We have looked through the wide range in order to make a top 5 list with the films we appreciate the most, which you will find here on the page.

Lately there have also been many exciting movies being transformed into videoslots, which you can play on online casino websites. Frankenstein, Scarface and South Park are just a few of them.

Check the best films in our opinion (our top 5 below) and the best internet casino sites.

5. Casino Royale (2006)

James Bond, agent 007, played by Daniel Craig in this now classic Bond movie from 2006. A central element in the film are the poker tournaments between James Bond and bond villain Le Chiffre, where great efforts around the poker tables is one of the most exciting scenes. These casino scenes are long and extremely exciting, and if you like the atmosphere of the games, casino and poker or just Bond, you have probably already seen this movie. If not, do it now! Casino Royale ranks into a strong fourth place on our list of best casino movies.

4. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

This is the movie that is based on the true story of Hunter S. Thompson; a journalist, author and creator of the so-called gonzo-journalism. The film is partly about his road trip in a convertible through the Nevada desert toward Las Vegas, along with his equally drug addicted attorney Dr. Gonzo. On the one hand, the film is set in Las Vegas and showing on Hunter and Gonzo's hysterical drug intake and frolic in Las Vegas, and their quest to shoot a cover of a magazine. The movie is crazy, funny, tragic and spectacular in many ways! It depicts casino, gambling, Las Vegas and its darkness on a brand new plan, like no other film has ever done before.

3. Rounders (1998)

At the third position of best casino movies, we choose to put the movie Rounders that premiered in 1998. This casino movie tells the story of a man who had to stop playing but which again must venture into the play to save a very dear friend to pay back his debts he owes. Rounders was directed by John Dahl, and actors include Matt Damon and Edward Norton, Gretchen Mol and John Malkovich. Rounders is a film in the genre of crime/drama, so are you in search of a casino video but voltage then you have your evening saved it.

2. Oceans 11 (2001)

Oceans 11 came in 2001 and quickly became a huge success. With master director Steven Soderbergh at the head and sole actor George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts in the back so deliver Oceans 11 constant voltage at a high level. It is a given second place on our top ten list of best casino movies. The film is about the brain Danny Ocean (Clooney) who come out of prison and has a plan to Rob three of the largest casinos in Las Vegas; Bellagio, MGM Grand and The Mirage. Danny gathers their gang of 11 men who are all good at different things.

  1. 1. Casino (1995)

It is almost a matter of course that this masterpiece from 1995 directed by none other than Martin Scorsese ranked as one of the most astonishing films about casino ever made. The film shows the intense relations between the various Las Vegas casinos and they many times criminal participants of their rule in the 1970s. In the film, we see actors like Robert De Niro, Sharon Stone, Joe Pesci and James Wood. See it today if you haven't already seen it, or see it again!
