MyFrenchFilmFestival announces the list of winners and a record 11th edition with 13 million views

The 11th edition of the online French-language film festival has come to a close, with 13 million views on the myfrenchfilmfestival.com site and its partner platforms in over 200 territories.

The festival achieved its best results ever!

 

Internet users were able to enjoy the films of the selection on MyFrenchFilmFestival.com, but also on over 60 video-on-demand platforms, which presented the festival internationally, including the Apple TV app (in over 90 territories), Amazon Prime Video, Google Play and even MUBI.

The festival was entirely free in Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia, South Korea, Poland, Romania and Russia/CIS.

 

The Grand Prize of the Jury


The film wins a prize of 15,000 euros (for the director, producer and exporter).

The International Jury, composed of:

Monia Chokri, Canadian actress, screenwriter and director
Franco Lolli, Colombian director
Mounia Meddour, Franco-Algerian director
Gianfranco Rosi, Italian documentary filmmaker
Rosalie Varda, costume designer and producer


awarded the film ADOLESCENTES by Sébastien Lifshitz (France), produced by Agat films & Cie and sold by The Party Film Sales.

 

 

The International Press Awards


The jury, composed of foreign journalists:

Susanne Burg from Germany (journalist for Deutschlandfunk Kultur)
Robbie Eksiel from Greece (journalist and film critic for www.flix.gr)
Zouhour Harbaoui from Tunisia (cultural journalist)
Katie Parker from New Zealand (freelance journalist)
Daria Porycka from Poland (journalist for the Polish Press Agency)
Clarence Tsui from Hong Kong (director of the Broadway Cinematheque and freelance journalist)
Veronika K. Zajdela from Slovenia (journalist for RTV SLO “Radio-Television Slovenia”)
awarded the film JOSEP by Aurel (France), produced by Les Films d'Ici Méditerranée and sold by The Party Film Sales, as the best feature film

and MOTUS by Élodie Wallace (France), produced by 2.4.7. Films and sold by Shortcuts, as the best short film.

The Audience Awards
Internet users chose the film JOSEP by Aurel (France), produced by Les Films d'Ici Méditerranée and sold by The Party Film Sales, as the best feature film

and the film ENTRACTE by Anthony Lemaitre (France), produced by Tripode Productions and sold by Shortcuts, as the best short film.
