Call For Entries: Brownfish Short Film Festival NYC 2012

The 2nd annual Brownfish Short Film Festival NYC is now accepting submissions through August 1, 2012 for short films and short screenplays. From page to production, from production to profession, the Brownfish Short Film Festival NYC is dedicated to helping filmmakers and screenwriters get their work exhibited and grow their career paths. In addition to the short film competition, this year’s festival will debut a screenwriting contest, accepting short screenplays 15 pages and under. Accepted scripts will have staged readings and compete for cash awards in the categories of Comedy and Drama. Short Films must be 20 minutes or less in length and have been produced/completed within the past 3 years. Non-English submissions are welcome but must be subtitled in English. Categories include Comedy, Drama, Documentary, and Animation. Short Screenplays must be 15 pages or less, written in the past 12 months. Screenplay submissions must be in English.
