CALL FOR ENTRIES

The Brownfish Short Film Festival NYC is now accepting submissions for short films and short screenplays for the 2013 BSFFNYC.

Short films will be accepted 20 minutes and under for the categories of Comedy, Drama, Documentary, and Animation. 

Short Screenplays will be accepted 15 pages and under for the categories of Comedy and Drama.

All films must have been produced/completed within the past 3 years. Non-English submissions are welcome but must be subtitled in English. Screenplays must be in English.

This is a judged contest awarding cash and prizes. We believe the greatest support given to filmmakers and screenwriters are resources and financing to make more films.

ABOUT  THE BROWNFISH SHORT FILM FESTIVAL NYC

The Brownfish Short Film Festival NYC will take place in New York City November 1- 3, 2013. The festival showcases short films in the categories: Comedy, Drama, Documentary and Animation.  Screenplays are presented in a live, staged reading.

Along with our screenings and readings, the BSFFNYC presents workshops with industry professionals to provide emerging filmmakers and screenwriters with the information and business advice needed to take their careers to the next level.
