The Netherlands Film Fund is official partner of the Berlinale Co-Production Market (17-21 February). The Fund is taking part in the country session meetings on Sunday 18 February and is jointly organizing the Co-production Market Reception Monday 19 February.

Six Dutch producers have been invited for the Visitors Programme: Rianne Poodt (The Rogues), Loes Komen (N279 Entertainment), Rogier Kramer (Dutch Mountain Film), Nathalie van der Burg (Pupkin), Renko Douze (Een van de Jongens) and Olivia Sophie van Leeuwen (Halal Docs).

BOOKS ON SCREEN
BREAKFAST MEETINGS

On Monday 19 February, Books on Screen Breakfast Meetings will take place: a series of meetings between Dutch publishers and German film producers, and between German publishers and Dutch film producers.

The first German-Dutch networking meetings for professionals from the publishing industry and the film industry were organized on the occasion of the Guest of Honour programme at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2016 and the Netherlands Film Festival. These meetings initiated new collaborations and co-productions between Dutch and German publishers and filmmakers which hopefully will lead to many beautiful film adaptations.

Books on Screen, supported by Books at Berlinale as part of the Berlinale Co-Production Market, will take place at the Berlinale for the first time this year. The event has been made possible by the Dutch Foundation for Literature, the Dutch embassy in Berlin, Dutch Culture (Centre for international cooperation) and the Netherlands Film Fund.
