AUDIENCE CHOICE VOTING NOW OPEN IN SELECTED 2016 SAE ATOM AWARDS CATEGORIES

AUDIENCE CHOICE

What were your favourite student finalists from last year?

We’re keen to find out. Maybe you’re already familiar with the finalist productions in the school categories of the 2016 SAE ATOM Awards, or perhaps you’ve just discovered them. Either way, now is the time to have your say!

The ATOM Awards are Australia’s leading film and media awards for the education and industry sectors, with forty-five diverse screen content categories spanning film, television, animation, educational resources, and new media including apps, ebooks and games.

The audience choice awards offer students, teachers and other interested individuals from all over the world a chance to view and vote for their favourite finalist productions in all the student categories from last year’s awards.

We want as many people as possible to have the opportunity to vote, so please spread the word, and jump online to view the productions and vote at atomawards.org/2017-audience-choice/.

VOTING

The first four categories we are opening up for voting are:

  • Best Primary School Animation
  • Best Middle School (Years 7-10) Film Production
  • Best Senior Secondary Animation
  • Best Senior Secondary Documentary

You can only vote for one of the four finalists in each category, so make your vote count – once you’ve confirmed a vote, it cannot be changed or revoked.

Students can vote in their own time as individuals, or at school as part of a group or class activity. All you need to vote is a valid email address.

This round of voting will be open until until midday AEST on Thursday 11 May.

The 2017 SAE ATOM Awards recognise film and media excellence across forty-five diverse categories, including eleven categories specifically for primary and secondary students. If you know of anyone who might be interested in entering, now is the time! Entries are currently open and will close at midday AEST on Friday 2 June. Click here for more information on this year’s categories.
