The World Premiere of "Inside Bob Dylan's Jesus Years: Busy Being Born... Again! " directed/produced/written by Joel Gilbert, was held at the New York Society for Ethical Culture, Saturday, November 1, 2008, 7:30 p.m. A live performance with musician Joel Gilbert, performer Regina McCrary (Slow Train Coming, Saved, 1979-1981 Dylan Tours) and bass player Rob Stoner (Desire, At Budokan,1975-1978 Dylan Tours) preceded the premiere screening. The outstanding performance included songs from Dylan's  1979 Grammy Award-winner SLOW TRAIN COMING album such as "Gotta Serve Somebody."  An onstage discussion immediately followed the film with performer Regina McCrary, Dr. Mitch Glaser president of Chosen People Ministries, director/producer/musician Joel Gilbert, and bass player Rob Stoner,  moderated by Rabbi Steve Fenchel, Sha'ar Adonai Messianic Congregation.

Inside Bob Dylan's Jesus Years: Busy Being Born... Again!, is a powerful, raw, and passionate documentary film about a man's intimate encounter with God who used music as a platform for expression. In 1978, World-renowned multi-awarded American (Jewish descent) folk singer/songwriter Bob Dylan (Bob Zimmerman) spiritual journey began when the Lord Jesus (Messiah Yeshua) became real in his life. The documentary includes photos, live concert footage; interviews with Vineyard Christian Fellowship Church pastor Bill Dwyer, Jews for Jesus pioneer Mitch Glaser, award winning songwriter Al Kasha, background
singer Regina McCrary, keyboardist Spooner Oldham, music producer Jerry Wexler  (Slow Train Coming), San Francisco Chronicle reporter Joel Selvin, journalist AJ Weberman, and many others.

Inside Bob Dylan's Jesus Years: Busy Being Born... Again!, directed/produced/written by Joel Gilbert | USA | 2008 | 120 minutes | color, black/white | released by Highway 61 Entertainment, is available on DVD.
