This year's slate of music films include: BURNING DOWN THE HOUSE: THE STORY OF CBGB, directed by Mandy Stein, screens at the AMC Village 7, Friday, April 24, 8:30PM, and Monday, April 27, 3:30PM. The World Premiere will be held at the SVA Theater, Thursday, April 30, 7:00PM. The historical documentary film based on New York's world-renowned underground nightclub CBGB-OMFUG (1973 - 2006) founded by Hilly Kristal. CBGB introduced punk rock and new wave music with live performances by legendary bands which debuted at the club such as The Ramones, Blondie, Talking Heads, Television, Bad Brains, Patti Smith, The Sex Pistols and many others. BON JOVI: WHEN WE WERE BEAUTIFUL, directed by Phil Griffin debuts at the BMCC Tribeca PAC, Wednesday, April 29, 9:30PM with additional screenings held at the AMC Village 7, Thursday, April 30, 1:45PM, and Saturday, May 2, 9:45PM. This documentary captures the world tour behind the scenes with rock star icon Bon Jovi and his band.
