2010 NYCIFF Closing Night Premiere of Listen to Your Heart Available on DVD

By Maria Esteves - September 27, 2010

The First New York City International Film Festival (NYCIFF) 2010 Closing Night Award winning film "Listen to Your Heart," directed by Matt Thompson commenced Sunday, August 29, 8:00 PM, in the great outdoors of Time Square, New York City. The Irish short film in Geolic language "Nollaig Shona (Happy Christmas)," directed by Orla Murphy, preceded the closing night film.

"Listen to Your Heart" is an excellent film based on life, love, and hope!  Twenty four year old aspiring singer/songwriter/musician Danny Foster (Kent Moran), a NYC waiter at Anthony's Café experience love at first sight when serving 21-year old Ariana Scott (Alexia Rasmussen), a deaf college student living under the control of her mother starring Cybill Shepherd. The film unfolds into a beautiful love story capturing the challenges presented by mommy dearest and the essence of life itself. The movie soundtrack is splendid! Like Danny, a fearless man who radiates life said, "One song can change your whole life. Live a full life, the life you choose!" This movie will encourage and provoke you to challenge your innermost fear.

LISTEN TO YOUR HEART, Wishing Well Pictures, directed by Matt
Thompson | 2010 | USA | Drama, Music, Romance | 100 min.| People's Choice Award, Best Actor nominee (Kent Moran), 2010 New York City International Film Festival.   "Listen to Your Heart" is available nationwide on Video on Demand, October 1, and on DVD October 5, 2010.
