2009 Dance on Camera Festival Opening Night Reception Photos

The 37th Annual 2009 Dance on Camera Festival (DCF09),

co-sponsored by the Dance Films Association (DFA) and Film Society of Lincoln Center, Opening Night Film Premieres and Reception huge success held at the Walter Reade Theater, New York, Wednesday, January 7, included screenings of BALLERINA, directed by Bertrand Normand;PLAY: ON THE BEACH WITH BALLETS RUSSES, directed by Gillian Lacey; EMPAC (Experimental Media & Performing Arts Center) four short dance films, KINO-EYE, directed by Joby Emmons; VETERANS, directed by Victoria Marks & Margaret Williams; PROPIEDAD HORIZONTAL, created by David Farias, Carla Schillagi and Maria Fernanda; and NORA, directed by Alla Kovgan and David Hinton. 2009 DCF Opening Night Reception held at Frieda and Roy Furman Gallery preceded the EMPAC four short dance films.
