10th New York International Latino Film Festival World Premiere of TREK TO THE HOLY LAND

The 10th New York International Latino Film Festival (NYILFF) presented by HBO, celebrating ten years of cinematic excellence World Premiere feature documentary TREK TO THE HOLY LAND, directed by Edward Harris was held at the School for Visual Arts (SVA) theatre, August 1, 2009, 6:00 pm.  The world premiere of TREK TO THE HOLY LAND, red carpet arrivals included artists, producers, directors, and celebrity guests.

TREK TO THE HOLY LAND is a provocative documentary that chronicles the journey of Rev. Al Sharpton to meet with Prime Minister of Israel Shimon Peres and Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat after 9/11. The film captures the background and history of the Holy Land, pilgrimage to Holy sites, and explores the history of Ethiopian Jews in Israel.
