The 51st New York Film Festival (NYFF51) BLUE IS THE WARMEST COLOR (La vie d'Adèle), directed by Abdellatif Kechiche press conference moderated by director of programming/selection committee chair Kent Jones, Film Society of Lincoln Center, was held at the Walter Reade Theater, Friday, October 11, 2013. Questions posed by members of the press to director Kechiche and actress Adèle Exarchopoulos included "Did you use improv as part of your technique and is this the final release cut; Did you go through a long casting process or were these two actresses your first choice; Was there any point in the shoot that you wanted to tell the director, no this is just too far for me to go and if there was no point, what made you decide to just give him everything?" BLUE IS THE WARMEST OF COLOR now playing in theaters.
