12th New York International Latino Film Fest Opening Night Premiere of Filly Brown Red Carpet Photos

The 13th New York International Latino Film Festival 2012 (NYILFF12) Opening Night New York Premiere of Filly Brown, co-directed by Youssef Delara and Michael D. Olmos commenced Tuesday, August 14, 7:00pm at the Clearview Chelsea Cinemas. Presented by HBO, the festival celebrates the diversity and spirit of the Latino community by showcasing the best films from emerging and established filmmakers of Latino and Latino American descent.

This year’s festival runs from August 13-19, includes over 60 films (features, documentaries, shorts) special presentations, workshops, panel discussions, after parties, family and community events. NYILFF12 Opening Night honored director Carmen Palaez with the HBO/NYILFF 2012 Short Film Script Competition Award for her script The Acting Lesson. NYILFF12 Opening Night New York Premiere of Filly Brown after party immediately followed the film at OAK, New York.
