Artemis Motion Pictures

Artemis Motion Pictures brings you the first ever film festival dedicated to honoring female action and empowerment.

We celebrate powerful women taking action on the silver screen. From female action heroes to female activists, we will shine a spotlight on females in narrative and documentary films who are fearless, fierce, and revolutionary.

Artemis Women in Action Film Festival celebrates action and empowerment films and the women who kick ass and change culture in them! We not only wish to celebrate, we wish to elevate. We believe that film has both the power to entertain and to awaken. With this festival, we’d also like to awaken people’s awareness of the dynamic and powerful roles of women in our society and throughout the world. Our festival mission is to both kick ass and open minds.

Whether suffragettes or stuntwomen, female superheroes or female leaders, if your film features of woman as a lead or co-lead who is in action or takes action, we want to see it!

We are interested in all narrative, animated, and documentary films as well as screenplays that showcase powerful women.
