Annecy 2013 has set the pace for an exciting year ahead for animation film. 2461 films were received and 246 selected. 26 films were awarded, 7 shorts, 3 features, 3 for TV films, 2 for commissioned films, 4 for graduation films and 7 other prizes. The annual animation festival awarded Best Feature to Luiz Bolognesi’s Rio 2096: A Story Of Love And Fury on Saturday at the close of its 2013 edition, where 236 films screened in competition. This year's Annecy International Film Festival 2013 took place June 10-15 was swirling with energy, new partnerships and animation talent.
