Annecy International Animated Film Festival

Specialised in animated films, shorts, medium and feature length. Annecy is the place for discovering, sharing, organizing meetings, finding partners, the place where animation is made, develops, innovates and holds people`s attention.

Annecy 2018: virtual reality on all fronts!

Virtual Reality is a part of the official selection in out of competition with a dedicated category: VR@ANNECY.

Come along to discover animated short films in virtual reality!

New projects will be offered every day in Bonlieu, salle de création, where it will be possible to use HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and Samsung Gear headsets.

New feature for 2018: VR@MIFA

This year, there will be an experimental VR/AR area at Mifa for the first time!

Come along to test state-of-the-art projects by using OCULUS RIFT or Gear/GO. A selection of animated shorts and feature films in virtual reality will be made available to you in the library.
