Animaze is an international film festival and conference dedicated to exploring the world of animation in all its diversity. Filmmakers from over 65 countries working in a wide range of genres and styles converge on Montreal in the summer. We engage audiences and develop new opportunities in a unique and fast growing art form.

ANIMAZE presents le MIAFF! a Montreal based international animation film festival and industry conference providing a showcase for animators and animation producers to showcase and market their works including technology and anything animated in the digital landscape as a digital art or even for research purposes in the field of science.

ANIMAZE is registered non-profit organization with feature animation film as its prime focus. ANIMAZE is an animation industry conference, workshops for animators, producers network, cocktail networking and ANIMAZE DAZE international co-production incentive. ARTHUR cast and crew celebrating 20 years of the series at Animaze August 21

The adventures of Arthur Read the aardvark from Elmwood City, have delighted viewers and inspired millions of devoted fans. This hour long panel discussion will explore the development and production of Arthur, the classic PBS animated series developed and animated in Montreal. A discussion with directors, designers, writers and voice talent who have played key role in the direction of the show over its 20 year existence. Panelists will explore the creative process behind Arthur, key production and development decisions and how they kept the show fresh and interesting. This is a rare Montreal appearance of the creative voices behind Arthur, organized in celebration of its 20th anniversary. The panel is a discussion with:

GREG BAILEY (Director/réalisateur): Greg has directed episodes of Arthur since 1996. He is active with his production company Iron Aardvark Productions.

PETER HIRSCH (Head writer/ scénariste) Peter has served as writer and executive story editor on the show since 1997.

BRUCE DINSMORE (Voice / voix, Binky Barnes) Bruce is a Montreal-based voice actor who has also appeared in many video games and films.

PATRICK BELEC (production designer)

The panel will be moderated by ARTHUR HOLDEN, the voice of Mr Ratburn. A Q&A will follow.
