ANIMATOR FestivalANIMATOR, International Animated Film Festival in Poznań, Poland
ANIMATOR is the biggest animated film festival in Poland. One of its important features is the international competition of animated short films up to 30 minutes and animated features. The programme of ANIMATOR includes various additional events: retrospectives of renowned directors, premieres, special screenings, thematic screenings, concerts, outdoor screenings, panel discussions, exhibitions, performances, lectures, workshops and a special programme for children. The festival places a great emphasis on the connections between animation and music; many of the screenings are accompanied by live music performed by a jazz trio, as well as, a symphonic orchestra.
 ANIMATOR \ 2014 Festival - NEW ENTRY DEADLINE!Due to a great interest of filmmakers in the 7th edition of the International Animated Film Competition at ANIMATOR \ 2014, the festival organizers decided to introduce the second selection for competition. New, the final entry deadline is : March 24, 2014 /the date on the postmark is what counts/.
