Terese Linden Kohn will launch her own sales agency, TALK Global Media, at AFM
As an executive of numerous sales agency divisions over her career, Kohn led sales on companies’ feature film projects, acquisitions and libraries including content produced for Netflix, HBO, Showtime, Lifetime, ABC Family and The SyFy Channel.
She previously led growth and expansion of companies such as: MarVista Entertainment – where she maximized television sales revenue for a 3,000 hour library including episodic television series, animation, TV movies and feature films – Peace Arch Entertainment, and W2 Media.
“After years of building and launching brands, I decided it was time to launch my own company! I’m excited to continue offering quality content to my clients around the world with the service they have always appreciated from me,” Kohn said. For its first AFM, TALK brings a varied slate of quality independent films across multiple genres under her motto of “Films People Are TALKing About”.
Now representing Dream Machine Animation for international territories, TALK Global Media will offer 100s of hours of animated content including movies, sing-alongs and educational series for kids of all-ages. TALK’s AFM slate also includes: Painless, a sci-fi thriller starring Joey Klein (12 Monkeys, The Vow) and directed by award-winning documentarian Jordan Horowitz. The film had a great festival run including Cinequest where it won the New Vision Award and the Hollywood Film Festival where Horowitz won Exceptional Emerging Artist Award, Directing. Recent theatrical release by Indican Pictures.
I Can I Will I Did, starring Dear Evan Hansen’s Tony-nominated Mike Faist and Selenas Leyva, series regular on the Emmy award-winning Netflix hit Orange Is the New Black. Written and directed by Nadine Truong, the film won the Audience Choice Award at the Asian American International Film Festival in New York and Best Narrative Feature at Sunscreen.

Triumph, documentary – Winner of this year’s Audience Award at Dokufest.
