![]() Studio 100 Film Brings The Brand New Animation Movie "Quixote's The Heirs Of La Mancha" at AFM 2016Studio 100 Film will present the new CGI movie “Quixote’s - The Heirs of La Mancha” at this year’s AFM. Inspired by the world-renowned literary masterpiece “The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha” the new 3-D animation adventure tells the story of 11-year old Alfonso, the heir of Don Quixote. Together with his three imaginary and musical rabbits he joins Pancho and Victoria to save their beloved town of La Mancha from a huge storm caused by evil triplets who want to own the land and make it their kingdom. Along the way Alfonso discovers the power of friendship, falls in love and gets his father back. The screenwriter for this epic movie is Carlos Kotkin, whose credits include the theatrical success “Rio 2”. Set for delivery in 2018 “Quixote’s” is a GG VFX production and Studio 100 Film is the sales agency for the worldwide rights.
“We are delighted to present this new feature film at AFM. The story promises an exciting adventure for kids and families alike. The tale of Don Quixote has captured audiences for more than 400 years and to this day its fascination is still unbroken. This new interpretation of the topic into a thrilling children’s adventure will continue the success story of a masterpiece,” comments Patrick Elmendorff, CEO of Studio 100 Media.
"Our film aims to give a different, fresh and youthful tone to the already world-famous literary masterpiece written by Cervantes, with an aesthetics that seeks to differentiate itself from the one in standard animated films today. The film uses humor to convey Don Quixote's values and captivate the whole family through shared laughter," added Gonzalo Gutierrez, Director of Quixote's.
