![]() Sales Executive Kristen Figeroid Joins BLOOM as President of International Sales & DistributionBLOOM announced today that Kristen Figeroid is joining the team as the President of International Sales & Distribution. Figeroid will report to Alex Walton and will oversee the international licensing and distribution of BLOOM’s growing film slate.
BLOOM’s Alex Walton said: “Kristen comes with great experience, she is a highly regarded sales agent and incredibly well-liked among buyers, producers, and agents. She has a great eye for material and talent as well as a keen understanding of the global film landscape. She is the perfect fit.”
Kristen Figeroid has over 18 years of experience in independent feature film. Most recently she served as EVP, Sales and Distribution for Sierra Affinity handling sales on such films as Coldest City starring Charlize Theron, Gold starring Matthew McConaughey, Academy Award nominated Whiplash from director Damien Chazelle and Nightcrawler starring Jake Gyllenhaal.
BLOOM, founded by Walton and producer / financier Ken Kao in 2014, has seen significant development over the last few years. The company recently announced Paul Weitz’s Bel Canto starring Julianne Moore, Ken Watanabe and Demián Bichir, which they began selling at the Toronto International Film Festival.
