Russell Brand stars in the anticipated, enchanting FOUR KIDS AND IT along with Paula Patton, Matthew Goode, and Michael Caine.

 

The story follows four children who are horrified to learn that their beach holiday is a bonding trip with potential future step siblings. An argument leads to the discovery of magical, sandy, grumpy creature IT (voiced by Caine), who can grant them one wish a day that will be cancelled when the sun sets.

 

Ashley Aufderheide, Teddie Malleson-Allen, Billy Jenkins and Ellie-Mae Siame play the four children.

 

Andy De Emmony (West Is West) directs the adaptation of Jacqueline Wilson’s novel. Wilson’s 2012 novel Four Children And It is a retelling of E. Nesbit’s Five Children And It, published in 1902.

 

Julie Baines and Anne Brogan produce. Jwanwat Ahriyavraromp of T&B Media Global, 13 Films’ Tannaz Anisi and Gregory R. Schenz and Geraldine East are exec producing. Jonathan Taylor and Paul Donovan are co-producers. The shoot wrapped in Dublin recently.

 

Tannaz Anisi’s 13 Films is handling worldwide sales for the feature at the 2018 American Film Market.

SYNOPSIS:

Four Kids and It is the fun, family action adventure story of four children who are horrified to learn that their beach holiday is in fact a bonding trip with their potential future step siblings engineered by new couple Alice (Patton) and David (Goode). During an argument, they accidently find a Psammead, a magical, sandy, grumpy creature called IT (voiced by Caine) who can grant them one wish a day - only to see the wish cancelled as soon as the sun sets. The kids must learn to work together and choose their wishes wisely after an evil villain (played by Brand) makes it his mission to steal the Psammead for himself.
