Overcoming all barriers, Kamasutra 3D all set for an early 2015 release

The most anticipated movie in the last two years among the film enthusiasts, Kamasutra 3D, is finally gearing up for a mega release in early 2015. The movie that is on the final post-production stage has already set to garner the accolades of film critics around the globe.

The film’s promo video has already touched 25 million hits on YouTube within months after its upload. At the American Film Market, the team Kamasutra 3D will be meeting their international partners and associates at AFM Booth: Loews Office 655. In addition to that, a press conference has been arranged  Today 11 am at Loews Press Conference Lobby where the representatives of the movie will interact with media personnel.

The film, written by the director himself, is set in the backdrop of the real historical milieu portraying the journey of a soulful love embodied with betrayal and war. It weaves the transformative changes in body, mind and soul by the forbidden world of sexual love and sensuality. As per the sources, the production house plans to release Kamasutra 3D in three versions. The uncut film will be shown in the Video On Demand Market and another version is made for the family viewing; especially for the audience in South Asia. There is a theatrical version too and director justifies the reasons for releasing three different versions.

Sherlyn Chopra, the sexy siren of Indian movie industry, plays the substantial character of an Aphrodite, in this much awaited movie. King Malkhan debuts in the film as the male lead portraying the character of a Prince and a ‘Naga Sanyasi’. Other actors on screen include Milind Gunaji, Makarand Deshpande, Maleena Khan, Sushmita Mukherjee, Tumul Balyan, Amit Singh, Vishal Patni, Md. Asif, Gajendra Chauhan, Andria D'souza, Amit Bahl and Mohan Kapoor.

Kamasutra 3D is directed by Rupesh Paul and is produced by UAE based GJ Entertainments. The iconic brand GJ is created by renowned sports surgeon Dr. George John, whose clientele includes Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Diego Maradonna, Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney and Serena Williams. The Co-producer and Project Designer Sohan Roy is a business magnate and renowned filmmaker with several international accolades to his credit, including a Guinness Book of World Records entry and Oscar short listings.

This is also the first international production made under the close supervision of Non Resident Indian Producers Association, an association formed by a group of potential Non Resident Indians (NRIs) with experience and passion in film production.

This year Kamasutra 3D’ was the only movie with 5 songs after 'The Great Gatsby', to be shortlisted at the Oscars 2014 in the Original Song category. The movie was also sent as a special presentation for the special Oscar screenings.

The officials informed that due to some changes in the plan, certain controversies that surrounded the film and re-shoot had prevented the movie to be released from the actual release date. Now the movie is expected to hit the theatres by early 2015.
