Meet Miles Flanagan the triple festival director

Since 2007 Miles Flanagan has been running 3 film festivals here in LA. Honorees over the years include Brad Bird, Sean Lennon, Roger Corman, Quentin Tarantino, Joe Dante, Sid Haig, Dick Miller and Cassandra “ELVIRA” Peterson. All the festivals fundraise for charity.

LOS ANGELES ANIMATION FESTIVAL for ASIFA,

LOS ANGELES ANIMATION FESTIVAL (LAAF)

LAAF is LA's only International Animation Festival running since 2007. Previous guests and honorees include Pixar Director Brad Bird, Sean Lennon (also Artistic Director), Bill Plympton, ‎Peter Chung, Chris Prynoski, Tom Kenny and Will Vinton.

LAAF 2019 promises to screen even more indie animation than ever before and concentrate on helping animators and creators learn more about the industry - how to sell and find distribution for your work, how to pitch, how to find employment opportunities and how to adapt to current changes in the industry.

LAAF is the country's leading international animation festival since 2007 dedicated to helping indie and student filmmakers.

"Very cool." (Joe Dante - Director of GREMLINS & THE HOWLING)

"A resounding success." (LatinHorror.com)

"Pay attention to HHF." (ShockTillYouDrop.com)

"An incredible success. The crowd was great, the shorts were great, the atmosphere was great, the free gifts were great (comic books and a zombie jello mold? hell yeah), the popcorn was great, I mean, hell, the damn tickets were FREE. What else could you ask for?" (Framehopping Blog)

"A cool vibe." (David Leclercq - Directer & Festival Attendee)

"I'm honored to have screened there with my own work." (Jerry Pyle - Director)

" It was hands-down my favorite festival on the circuit." (Lowell Northrop - Director & Festival Attendee)

Boobs and Blood International Film Festival

An unapologetic celebration of fun exploitation (horror, thrillers, fantasy, sci-fi, erotic, comedy) and psychotronic (look it up) culture. With the emphasis on FUN!

Our first event was held at Quentin Tarantino's NEW BEVERLY CINEMA in Los Angeles and was a massive success. We showcased the previously unseen world of Japanese Pink movies and were the first festival to have VAMPYRES (1975) star ANULKA DZIUBINSKA in attendance for a charity screening of her classic erotic Vampire movie. We were also featured on IFC, RUE MORGUE, DREAD CENTRAL and LA WEEKLY. Our second event at LAEMMLE'S MONICA 4 was even bigger.
