Last day to participate to Dan Mirvish's campaign for his new Watergate thriller

1ea29341-93e8-4865-a888-d8c563e65404.jpg

Monday is the final day to get involved with my new 70s Watergate film 18 1/2 and still get all the cool perks that we've had for the crowdfunding campaign! Here's the link: http://www.thefilmcollaborative.org/fiscalsponsorship/projects/18andahalf and if you haven't seen my video pitch yet, it's here:

After a hugely successful crowdfunding campaign on Seed&Spark where we raised almost exactly 18 1/2 thousand dollars, we've extended the campaign until Nov 11, for all those who missed the first deadline (you're not off the hook yet!) We're now very close to $20,000 - double our original goal - with 245 backers!  Donations now will be through our 501(c)3 fiscal sponsor, - and all our original perks will be available if donations are made by Monday, November 11, at 9pm PDT. Bonus? All new donations are fully tax-deductible if made through The Film Collaborative! Equity investment opportunities are still available, too (for $5,000 and up)!! I'll also take Venmo, Dollars, Euros and Rupees if that's easier. The following perks are still available for all backers:

$5 - exclusive cast updates!
$18 - a free original music download!
$25 - historical "fake news" photo of you as Elvis meeting Nixon or at Impeach Nixon rally (see below)
$40 - stream the finished movie!
$50 - get a "genuine" tape of Richard Nixon thanking you on a tape of a phone call he made in 1972!
$60 - get thanked in credits and on IMDb!
$75 - get exclusive Jules Feiffer on Nixon documentary
$125 - get Swag! (shirt, mug or tote) with 18 1/2 logo
$150 - get autographed copy of Dan's book
$200 - have coffee meeting with Dan Mirvish
$250 - exclusive Jules Feiffer/Nixon swag (shirt, mug, tote)
$400 - the 3-way Swag Pack! (pick 3 shirt, mug, tote items)
$500 - an exclusive book signed by Oscar-nominee Whit Stillman
$1000 - visit the set when we're shooting!
$5,000 - Greenport, NY, getaway weekend!
$10,000 - be a background extra in the movie!
$25,000 - be a Co-Executive Producer!
$50,000 - be an Executive Producer!

18 1/2 is the super timely, relevant 1970s-era Watergate conspiracy thriller/dark comedy written by Daniel Moya and to be directed by me. The film will be shot this winter in Greenport, NY, on the tip of Long Island, primarily at the Silver Sands Motel and Beach Cottages - Greenport N.Y.  Just email me at if you have any questions.

If you've already backed the film, thanks so much for your support, and if you haven't yet, thank you in advance!!

best,
Dan Mirvish
